The SCI Rules of Governance and Operations, which have been adopted by the Governance Group on 2 February 2018 in English, are now available in an additional 22 EU languages. The translations have kindly been carried-out by the European Commission as a result of a High Level Forum meeting.

The Supply Chain Initiative (SCI) today marked its five years of existence with an event featuring high-level speakers and the launch of its annual report. The results of the annual survey of registered companies showcase the continuing progress made in promoting good trading practices.


The Supply Chain Initiative (SCI) has revised its Rules of Governance and Operations to incorporate the role of the recently appointed independent Chair and to strengthen the dispute resolution mechanism.

05 March 2018, Brussels - The signatory associations of the Supply Chain Initiative (SCI) have revised its Rules of Governance and Operations following the appointment of Mr Michael Hutchings as the independent Chair of the SCI in October 2017.


The Supply Chain Initiative (SCI) clarifies good practice in applying the SCI principles of fair dealing, information, confidentiality, and justifiable request.
